Fourth annual celebration of comics and graphic arts. Saturday, October 31, 2015. Philadelphia, PA.

Kittens, Food, Ice Cream, and Candy

Those of us in the Locust Moon family know there are only two things as important as comics:

1. food
2. cats.

Each year at the festival, we make sure to share the best of EVERYTHING we love deeply, not just comics. So this year, joining us at the entrance of the Rotunda as part of the festivities, you’ll find…

Candy. I mean, it is Halloween, after all. Mark us down as the (generous) first stop on your trick-or-treating odyssey.

outside-meow

Project MEOW is an all-volunteer, animal welfare group that helps West Philadelphia residents to humanely reduce their feral and stray cat populations through Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) of un-owned stray and feral (wild) cats.

They’ll be at the fest with kittens to play with, get to know, and maybe even considering adopting.

outside-memo

Tacos Don Memo makes the best burritos you’re likely to eat on the East Coast. Maybe on any coast, honestly.

outside-greens

Philly Greens is here to put smiles on vegans’ faces, but carnivores would enjoy chef Greg Alden Steele’s take on chili, nachos, and, well, salad, naturally.

outside-icecream

Little Baby’s Ice Cream (1 pm – 4 pm) creates always delicious, and often adventurous flavors make this some of our favorite ice cream of all time. Have you seen their ads?

Find all these and, of course, comics, at the
