Barbara Neibart has been painting, drawing, doodling on napkins and generally goofing off in her studio since she was a kid. She is a painter, illustrator/cartoonist, writer and college professor of art.
Wild Life, her illustrated journal, is a series of narrative watercolors that began as letters to friends, and then took on a life of their own. Illustration clients include, among others: the Portland (Maine) Times Herald, Bust Magazine, the NY Wine Media Guild and the Ford Foundation.
Barbara Neibart earned a BFA in painting at Cornell University after transferring from UARTS (formerly PCA) and an MFA in painting, at Bard College. She is originally from suburban Philadelphia.
