G.W. Duncanson is new to creating comics and is producing with incredible enthusiasm. In 2012, he debuted by self-publishing a 48 page comic, The World at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics festival, and participated at Floating World Comics’ The Projects in Portland, OR. In 2013, he founded the full-color anthology Underwater Museum, to exclusively exhibit the work of abstract and experimental comics artists. Also in 2013, he was selected to exhibit at CAKE Chicago and the State University of New York’s print festival, as well as the World Artist Network’s gallery show of sequential visual art in Connecticut. He subsequently exhibited at the MoCCA Fest in New York City. Along with exhibiting and curating/publishing, he has recently joined the DiTKO! Exclamation zine library’s team in New York, cataloging and reviewing a variety of independent publications. In the near future his work will be appearing in the Portland-based Odium Comix #4, the new Providence-based oversized publication Warlock Wasteland, and the New York-based Torpor comics compilation.
