Meathaus is a group of far-flung friends and associates creating comic and sketchbook anthologies that stem from a founding group that formed in-person in art school at the turn of the century. Meathaus has published and/or created nine comics anthologies and a handful of sketchbook and other comics projects since 2000. The website Meathaus.com found its own life as a place to feature the work of Meathaus associates and artists from all over the world.
This year’s Locust Moon Festival will reunite a whole bunch of the Meathaus folks, for the first time in a good while.
