James Comey has been called “the artistic soul of Locust Moon.” More officially, he’s know as its Art Director. His impressive range of illustration work — scandalous advertisements in major metropolitan publications to intimate portrayals of nostalgia — can be seen in subway stations, wrap-around buses, and billboards from Portland, OR to Nashville, TN. Along with his outrageous catalogue of mini-comix, paintings, prints and grand murals, Comey also has a spectacular mustache.
Jimmy’s work can be seen in two Locust Moon books to date, Once Upon a Time Machine and The Locust Moon Comic. He is currently in the midst of developing and drawing a new ongoing series, American Monster Buffet, with writer Chris Stevens.
